Living at Fairfield House
Situated on top of a tranquil hillside, Fairfield House is set in an idyllic location overlooking the beautiful natural surrounds of Lyme Regis, from the entrance visitors and residents can enjoy views across the town down to the coastline and along to the famous Cobb. At the front of the house, residents enjoy the first conservatory, used by many as a sun room looking out over the grounds. The entrance hall is light and spacious where visitors are greeted by a member of staff, we do ask that you sign into the visitors book upon arrival to ensure the safety of all our residents and staff.
The lounge which has been arranged to encourage a more social atmosphere allows residents to meet up enjoy a social chat with their friends, watch their favourite programmes or enjoy an afternoon with our highly qualified and energetic activities co-ordinator. From here residents can access the main conservatory which also acts as the main activities room, an ideal place for residents to relax in the peaceful surroundings overlooking the gardens. Adjacent to the lounge is dining hall, residents have the option to have a relaxed meal time here with friends or enjoy a meal in the comfort of their own rooms.
Our Suites
The accommodation reflects the high standard of care we provide, with an elegant lounge area, spacious dining room and conservatories. There are also several cosy corners where residents may meet for a chat or to read a book. We encourage as full and active a lifestyle as possible, with rules and regulations kept to the minimum.
A choice of tastefully decorated single, double or premier bedrooms are available some of which are en-suite. Many of our bedrooms have panoramic views across Lyme Bay and the gardens around Fairfield House. All rooms have television and telephone points. Residents are welcome to bring personal belongings and small items of furniture. A small number of self contained cottages are available, providing a high standard of accommodation for more independent living.
House Keeping
The first impressions that our residents and visitors get is partly due to the excellent work of the housekeeping team always ensuring the home is fresh and welcoming. The relationship between the housekeeping staff and the residents is important and they can and do make a significant contribution to a residents' wellbeing.

Cuisine
At Fairfield house we pride ourselves on providing high quality nutritional meals, prepared by our qualified catering staff using the finest local quality produce, we ensure a variety of seasonal options are available.

The Grounds
Fairfield house is set in approximately an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens and patio area. The first garden, to the left of the home has been dubbed the ‘Secret Garden’ by staff and residents, this large private area accessible by all residents via a slope or steps at the other end. The garden itself is well maintained and is perfect for an afternoon stroll or a cup of tea on the lawn, our activities co-ordinator also likes a game or two of croquet with the residents when the sun is shining.
Within the back gardens residents can make use of the seated patio area to socialise with friends or enjoy an ice cream in the sun. From here residents and visitors alike can enjoy breathtaking views over the whole of Lyme Regis down to the Coastline and along to the Cobb.
The private courtyards following on from the back garden are used by staff and residents to hold special occasions such as birthday parties and private functions for the residents; we like to invite families and friends of residents to enjoy this area and also a small private lounge which attaches onto the courtyard.
