At Fairfield House we exercise our philosophy from the very first time we meet a new resident and their family; from choosing the most suitable accommodation down to the way in which their rooms are furnished – we like residents to feel as much at home as possible, for this reason we invite all our guests to bring with them any furniture which will make their room feel like home.

When getting to know our residents we like to enquire about any specific dietary requirements which must be catered for so that we can make appropriate changes to our seasonal menu especially prepared by our chef.

At all times care will be delivered in a manner which respects the client’s dignity and their need for privacy, within a framework which promotes choice and maximises independence. We will ensure that individual care needs are carefully identified and personal care plans are evolved. Residents and their relatives are encouraged to participate in the planning of their care.
You’re Safety
Our resident’s safety within the home is paramount, to ensure the well being and safety of each person all rooms have been fitted with a Nurse Call system. Fairfield House fully complies with all legislation relating to Fire Safety and Health and Safety.
Administration of Medicine
Safety in administration of medicine is paramount, policies and procedures within the home are strictly adhered to. To ensure the highest standards of safety only staff that have received training in the administration of medicine are allowed to carry out this procedure. Frequent audit trails are carried out. A risk assessment will be carried out for residents who wish to self medicate, this will be recorded on the residents care plan, reviewed and updated at frequent intervals.

We are committed to ensuring your stay at Fairfield House is a pleasant, stress free and a positive experience. The home is regularly inspected by CQC. Policies and Procedures are constantly updated and monitored by all the staff at Fairfield House. The manager ensures an excellent training programme is provided for all members of staff.
