Lyme Regis is a coastal town in West Dorset, England, situated 25 miles west of Dorchester and 25 miles east of Exeter, Fairfield House has excellent transport links to London and the surrounding areas making it the ideal retreat for residents and their visiting friends and families.
The town lies in Lyme Bay, on the English Channel coast at the Dorset-Devon border. It is nicknamed “The Pearl of Dorset.” It is famous, not only for its fossils and geology, but also its abundance of famous personalities who have lived and visited Lyme Regis. Today Lyme Regis offers a timeless charm and a warm hospitality from its town folk.
With a bus stop situated just outside the care home, residents and visitors alike have easy access into the seaside town and local areas. The home also owns its own mini bus which all our residents make great use of, whether it’s with our activities co-ordinator off on a day visit to the beach to enjoy an ice cream or our staff going to pick up our respite and day care visitors, we have the facilities in place to make our residents stay easier and more enjoyable.
