Before a resident is admitted the Proprietors will need to be informed of factors that may affect the type of care required. These will include the prospective residents medical condition and prognosis, together with any relevant social circumstances. This information will be treated in the strictest confidence (Data Protection Act 1998)
The first month of a residents' stay is to be recognized as a trial period by both parties.

All prices are per week. Fees will be reviewed annually on 1st April and any increase will be in line with inflation or as a result of new statutory provisions coming into force after the date thereof. The Proprietors reserve the right to an interim increase should there be any change in the level of care of the resident, either physical or mental deterioration being the main factors.
Extra charges are made for newspapers, hairdressing and guest for lunch.

The only personal items a resident will be expected to provide are personal clothing, toiletries and cosmetic items.
We would ask that all personal belongings were clearly marked and that a list of all items of furniture, jewellery and any pictures and ornaments were listed and a list be kept by the resident and on their personal file.
We can accommodate small dogs and cats with prior consultation with the Proprietors and Manager
RESIDENTS WILL ONLY BE ASKED TO LEAVE FAIRFIELD HOUSE FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS:-
The advice of the Department of Social Security will be sought before a decision is reached on (2) and (3) above
A RESIDENTS STAY MAY BE TERMINATED BY GIVING ONE MONTHS NOTICE IN WRITING BY EITHER PARTY.
The home furniture and fittings are fully insured, as are some of the residents’
belongings.
Please ask at the office if you require any further information. It will
be the responsibility of the resident if they need extra insurance cover
for valuables brought to the home.
We allow smoking in selected areas of the home. We hope people respect the wishes of a mainly non-smoking environment.
The home is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection as a Residential
Care Home for the Elderly and they are responsible for carrying out inspections
of the home to ensure standards are maintained.
The Proprietors and Manager will always be prepared to listen to any complaint
and to discuss ways in which they may be remedied. In the event of an unresolved
