
The main hall contains the main stairs and the passenger lift to the first floor; the hall leads into the main lounge, comfortably furnished with two settees and armchairs. From the lounge, there is a large conservatory that provides an alternative sitting area and has extensive views over the Bay. The dining room is also situated off the lounge and is a large airy area where residents are seated in ones or twos for all meals.

On the ground floor there are fifteen bedrooms, two
specialist bathrooms and toilets.
Five of the bedrooms and one bathroom and toilet are in the hall area .The
other ten are all en-suite and in an extension off the dining room. Part
of this extension is the second specialist bathroom and a quiet lounge,
with patio doors leading to the garden.



Upstairs there is a further fourteen bedrooms, three of which are double
rooms two being en-suite.
There is a further specialist bathroom and toilets.

All rooms are fitted with a nurse call system; these can only be cancelled in the rooms themselves. As with the call system, all rooms are fitted with smoke /heat detectors which are connected to the fire alarm panel and comply with Fire Regulations. Both systems are serviced quarterly. The alarm system is tested weekly and staff instructed on evacuation procedures, as laid down by the Fire Officer and the Care Commission.

To the side of the house is the newest addition to the house. The accommodation
comprises of three self-contained units, each one has a sitting room with
kitchenette facilities and a bedroom with an en-suite shower. These rooms
also have the nurse call system and heat/smoke detectors, both systems are
connected to the main house.
Above these are two staff flats.
These are approached from the side of the main house by way of a covered,
paved walkway.
